Jake Cray

Background:
I graduated from the University of Leeds with an integrated MMath, BSc in Mathematics. I focused mainly on applied mathematics and took fluid-based modules wherever possible. My final year project introduced me to the Numerical side of Fluid Dynamics.

Research Interests:
My interests are primarily in the applications of Machine Learning to fluid dynamics. However, I look forward to exploring the wide range of applications throughout the first year.

Why I chose the CDT:
I wanted to continue studying fluid dynamics, and the freedom to explore in the first year was appealing. I liked the idea of working with others and being surrounded by people with similar interests.
