Background: I graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Mathematics. During the degree, I studied a range of applied mathematics modules, my favourite being Viscous Fluid Flows.
Research Interests: Environmental Flows, Energy and Transport
Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: I chose the CDT because it provides the opportunity to develop crucial skills and broaden existing knowledge of fluid dynamics before starting the PhD. Also, I think the cohort approach to learning is extremely important because it helps bring awareness to your own strengths and weaknesses as well as providing a work-life environment. I hope it will also give me the chance to learn more about other areas of fluid dynamics that aren’t necessarily related to my research project.
