Background: I graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc in Mathematics in 2018. Unlike many others from the cohorts, I did not have an exposure to the realm of fluid dynamics in my previous studies. But I have a general interest in the interactions between mathematics and physics and other sciences.

Research Interests: I am currently curious about the theory of turbulence and its modelling. However, as a novice researcher, I still want to keep my mind open to any potential research areas at this early stage.

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: For me, the primary reason is that the first year of training provides the essential knowledge and skills. Moreover, by joining seminars and other horizon-broadening events, I can hopefully have a panoramic view of fluid dynamics before making a decision about my research topic.
