Aniruddha Bose

Background: I graduated from IIT Kanpur with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering in 2021. Before that I completed a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from IIEST Shibpur. During my degrees, I developed a good interest in fluid dynamics and its applications in aerospace and other sectors.

Research Interests: I am interested in the broad area of fluid dynamics, especially multiphase flows, particle laden flows and bubbly flows. I also have an interest in particulate matters, like aerosol dispersion, sediment transport in pipe flows and rivers, virus behaviour in closed rooms and slurry flows. I primarily am interested in CFD.

Why I chose the CDT: Because of the PhD project I chose. I enjoy that I can engage in internships, conferences and pursue a interdisciplinary PhD during my time at the CDT.
