Cross-CDT One Minute Project Pitch Event

The Cross-CDT One Minute Project Pitch Event took place on 16th July on Teams, showcasing the different research within the EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training across the Faculties of Engineering and Physical Sciences, with PhD students having only one minute to present their research to other students, staff and supervisors. The CDTs that took part were: Complex Particulate Products and Processes (CP3), Artificial Intelligence for Medical Diagnosis and Care (AI), Bioenergy, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (TERM), Fluid Dynamics, Water-WISER and Molecules to Product. From the Fluid Dynamics CDT, students Foteini Zagklavara and Imran Qureshi took part in presenting their research within a minute.
The online event was broken up into three broad themes, followed by breakout sessions which gave attendees the opportunity to ask questions. Professor Luke Windsor, incoming Dean of the Doctoral College, opened the event with an introductory welcome.
