Yesaya Tambunan

Background: I completed my BSc in mathematics at the University of Hull and did my dissertation on Stokes’ flow. I finished my MSc in mathematics at the University of Leeds, where for my MSc dissertation I explored what the effects of imposing magnetic fields has on elliptical instabilities. 

Research Interests: I am currently interested in magnetohydrodynamic fluid problems. 

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: I find fluid dynamics very interesting and was looking to do a PhD in it. So, the interdisciplinary nature of the programme, the training available, and the various connections to industry partners made it very appealing.
