Background: I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India with Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering. During my undergraduate studies, I worked on the linear stability analysis of bilayer nematic–isotropic systems, focusing on interfacial instabilities and pattern formation. I also explored the drop-impact dynamic studies of viscous fluids on engineered surfaces at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India.
Research Interest: I enjoy studying flow instabilities, interfacial phenomena and pattern formation in complex fluid systems.
Why I chose the CDT: I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics because of my interest in understanding the depth of the interdisciplinary aspects of fluid dynamics. In addition, I liked the CDT’s structured training programme with its collaborative and interdisciplinary research and learning environment.
