Grasiele Romanzini-Bezerra

Background: I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in 2020, and then completed my Master's degree in Physics at the Brazilian Centre for Research in Physics in 2023. During my Master's programme, I focused on astrophysics and cosmology. Following that, I worked as a research assistant in atmospheric and climate science at the University of Leeds from 2023 to 2024.

Research Interests: Climate and Atmospheric sciences and Astrophysics.

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: My expertise in climate and atmospheric sciences, as well as astrophysics, has involved extensive work with fluid dynamics to model physical systems. Because of this experience, the interdisciplinary nature of the CDT in Fluid Dynamics presented itself as the ideal opportunity to deepen my understanding of the field and its various applications. Additionally, it provides the tools and knowledge essential for further developing my research career.
