Background: I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Mathematics. I focused on applied mathematics, specifically the fluid dynamics modules. I also did a summer project after graduating studying the hydrodynamics of separating graphene particles.
Research Interests: Coming from a maths background, my interests lie in the more mathematical projects that study the fundamentals of fluid dynamics.
Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: I wanted to continue to study fluid dynamics and the CDT provided the freedom to explore different approaches to the area that were different to my mathematical background. Additionally, the cohort approach to a CDT appealed to me, as it provides lots of opportunities to collaborate with people from a range of backgrounds.
