Amelia Harrison

Background: I graduated with an Integrated Master's in physics from the University of Oxford in 2025. In my final year, I studied astrophysics and atmospheric physics with a research project focusing on the spectra of early galaxies. 

Research Interests: I have enjoyed studying climate and atmospheric physics and am particularly interested in the use of computational fluid dynamics to explore these areas. 

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: I enjoyed studying fluid dynamics in my undergraduate degree and I wanted to further explore the different contexts fluid dynamics can be used in beyond my experience with atmospheric fluid dynamics. I also particularly liked the collaborative nature of the CDT and felt it offered a supportive environment to work in.
