Ahmad Mohamadiyeh

Background: I did my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at American University of Sharjah. Following that, I completed my MSc in Thermal Power and Fluid Engineering (TPFE) at the University of Manchester. My MSc project focused on studying and comparing the flow behaviour and thermal performance of different ribbed channels numerically using CFD.

Research Interests: I am interested in studying the behaviour and heat transfer of different fluid flows both numerically and experimentally. I am keen on undertaking projects that have relevance and importance to industry.

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: The first year gives me the opportunity to consolidate my knowledge. The multidisciplinary approach in CDT helps in gaining new skills and getting exposed to new topics. Moreover, the CDT has great links with industry which allows student to work on projects that has industrial applications.
