Adrian Bartko

Background: I moved to the UK in 2019 to study Psychology, before switching to Mathematics and graduating with a Master’s degree from the University of Glasgow. My focus was on applied mathematics, particularly continuum mechanics, elasticity, and fluid dynamics.

Research Interests: Computational Fluid Dynamics, fluid-structure interaction

Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: Completing my dissertation on fluid–structure interaction motivated me to pursue a career in fluid dynamics. The CDT offers a unique combination of advanced training and collaboration with industrial partners. For me it was an excellent opportunity to gain both breadth and depth of knowledge while preparing me for a career in the fluid dynamics industry.
