Residential Induction 2019

The CDT held a residential induction on 23rd-25th September 2019 at the Village Hotel to welcome students in cohort 1 of the new CDT programme. The activities included an overview of the programme and PhD project process, hands-on team building activities, fluids demos, presentations from the Management Board, talks from students from the first CDT and talks from industry partners. We would like to thank Eleanor Merson (former Sandvik employee) and Andrew Collier (JBA Consulting) who gave excellent talks from an industrial perspective.
