Introducing Patricia 'Trish' Grant – New Centre Manager for the EPSRC CDT in Future Fluid Dynamics
Trish brings over 13 years of experience at the University, with a strong background in project and centre management. Her career has spanned strategic coordination, operational leadership, and cross-institutional collaboration. Most recently, Trish led the development of the UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment (CGFI) Leeds Innovation Hub, where she played a pivotal role in building partnerships and delivering impactful programmes.

“I am looking forward to being part of the FFD-CDT team. It is a privilege to join such a vibrant and forward-thinking research environment, and I look forward to collaborating with and supporting colleagues, students, and partners to further the CDT’s mission and maintain high standards in training and research."
Trish will offer professional support to the Directors, Executive Management Team, and External Advisory Board. She will oversee the operational management of both the current and predecessor EPSRC CDTs in Fluid Dynamics at the University of Leeds. Her responsibilities include leading all administrative processes, adapting them as the CDT evolves, and supporting academic functions. Additionally, she will closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders—students, supervisors, university departments, industry partners, and EPSRC. A key focus will be maintaining and expanding these relationships to support the CDT’s growth and impact.
Trish will serve as the central point of contact for students, academic staff, and external partners, providing timely and effective support and collaboration.
