Background: I graduated from the Tarbiat Modares University of Tehran with an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. For my thesis project, I worked on "Design and experimental investigation of a droplet-based microfluidic device." Three conference papers and an ISI-indexed article are published based on my thesis. Before joining CDT, I also worked in the Engineering and Development Unit of Parsian Gas Refinery Company, the second-largest natural gas refinery company in Iran, for almost two years.
Research Interests: Microfluidics, Droplets, Multiphase Flow, Experimental Design, Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Why I chose the CDT in Fluid Dynamics: I chose CDT in Fluid Dynamics since its research focus is an excellent match for my research and academic background. In CDT, students from different backgrounds can work as a part of a cohort in which they exchange their knowledge. Another good point is that in the first year of studying in CDT, students are exposed to different fields of Fluid Dynamics, which I find very helpful.
