The Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics (LIFD) is a newly established cross-campus institute in fluid dynamics at Leeds with its roots in Maths, Physics (including Astrophysics), Engineering and School of Earth & Environment, with contributions from the Biological Sciences and Medicine. The institute brings together academics, postdocs and PhD students with external partners to build collaboration, funding and to interact with research councils.
